Selling Goods and Services to the Government

To be eligible to bid for government contracts a company must first obtain a certification in the applicable small business designation. The Latin American Chamber of Commerce’s (LACC) Certification Program was designed to facilitate the certification process for small and medium-sized companies. The process requires collecting the business financial and related corporate documentation which is subject to testing for compliance with existing legislation.

The LACC Procurement Consulting Services include the following:

  • Evaluating a company’s product or service mix delivery capabilities to market their goods and services to government agencies
  • Identifying marketing opportunities for clients consistent with their products and services delivery capabilities
  • Conducting field test analysis to evaluate a company’s structure, capitalization, management expertise and ownership
  • Certifying companies as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE’s), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE’s), Women Business Enterprises (WBE’s)  and Veteran Business Enterprises (VBE’s) with City, County, State and Federal Agencies including the Small Business Administration under the 8(a) Certification Program
  • Re-Certifying M/W/D/VBE Companies
